Gose Burger, the best burgers in Bilbao

Since the recent opening of Gose - Smash Burgers, this hamburger restaurant has become one of the most popular and demanded in Bilbao, managing to face its main competitors: La Brasa Canalla, Vaca Vieja, Amaren or Malditas, which until now were the most popular burger restaurants in Bilbao.

Gose is a pioneering hamburger restaurant thanks to a technique imported from the United States, this technique gives rise to the “Smash Burger”.

This technique consists of flattening a ball of meat on a griddle at a temperature of 200 degrees. This results in a reaction known as Maillard, which is a crust on the surface of the meat, a caramelized edge and a very thin disc of meat.

This process is very fast, typical of American cuisine. It is currently fashionable, but it comes from the typical diners of the 50s and 60s in which they sought to get the best flavor from basic and economical ingredients.

All Gose burgers are Smash type and contain two 90-gram meat discs of their own mix, old beef and cheddar cheese, as well as the basic ingredients of each type of burger on their menu.

Gose Burger features 10 unique burgers, as well as a special one for each month. The bread for each burger is a 90-gram artisan potato roll specially designed for smash-type burgers.

You can also remove what you don't like when ordering your burger, add extras or special sauces indicated on the menu.

• Jam: with smoked bacon jam and spicy mayo.
• Emmy: poached onion and the legendary EMMY hot sauce.
• Cheese lovers: bacon bits, poached onion, cheddar sauce and spicy mayo.
• Big Gose: iceberg lettuce, diced onion, pickles and BIG GOSE sauce.

Among the extras they offer extra meat discs, cheddar cheese, smoked bacon and more. You can also order Emmy, Burger, Habibi sauce, cheddar sauce and spicy mayo for an extra cost or order the traditional mayonnaise, ketchup or mustard at no extra cost.

You can order other dishes such as nachos, wings, chicken nuggets, classic potatoes, Gose Pulled Pork potatoes and cheese smoke bacon potatoes.

At the same time, you can include craft beers in your meal and finish with delicious desserts like a brownie; a cheese, bacon and kindergarten cake or a carrot cake.

How to make a reservation at Gose Bilbao

The burger restaurant does not accept reservations through phone calls. Below we explain the steps to follow to get a reservation at the premises.

The first thing you should do is go to the burger restaurant's website. Once there, you must select the green button that says "RESERVAR MESA".

Next, a new window will open where you have a calendar. You must select the day you would like to try your Smash Burger. Likewise, you will have to select how many people you want the table for and the exact time of your arrival at the premises.

Afterwards, you must click on "BOOK", and in case there is no availability, you can always sign up for the waiting list.
